These summertime get-togethers usually include friends and family of all ages, so here are a few activity ideas that will be fun for everyone!
From old-fashioned activities like sack races and balloon tosses to more modern things like tie-dying t-shirts for the teens, we've got some ideas that are sure
to put a smile on everyone's face.
Sack Races: An oldie but goodie!
Red, White, and Blue Balloon Toss: Fill red, white, and blue balloons with water and have a water balloon toss! A great way to cool down on a hot summer day!
Independence Day Parade: Have all of the kids (or individual families) decorate
wagons
and
bikes

creative decorations. If you live in a neighborhood, invite
the neighbors to join in...or come out and watch as you march by. Lots of fun!

Croquet: A great American past-time and something that all ages will enjoy!
Badminton: Another game that's great for backyard get-togethers!
Face Painting: Use
red

white
,
and
blue face paint
to give the kids a little patriotic spirit!
Bubbles for the kids: Kids love blowing bubbles and it will keep them entertained for a long time!
