Fun 4th of July Activities
Add a little fun to your party with some 4th of July activities!
These summertime get-togethers usually include friends and family of all ages, so here are a few activity ideas that will be fun for everyone!
From old-fashioned activities like sack races and balloon tosses to more modern things like tie-dying t-shirts for the teens, we've got some ideas that are sure
to put a smile on everyone's face.
Sack Races: An oldie but goodie!
Red, White, and Blue Balloon Toss: Fill red, white, and blue balloons with water and have a water balloon toss! A great way to cool down on a hot summer day!
Independence Day Parade: Have all of the kids (or individual families) decorate wagons and bikes, then have them march in their very own parade!
You can even award prizes for the most
creative decorations. If you live in a neighborhood, invite
the neighbors to join in...or come out and watch as you march by. Lots of fun!
Patriotic Tie-Dye: (Pictured above)This is such a great activity for the tweens and teens! Use red and blue dye to create patriotic masterpieces. Complete instructions on how to
die-tye shirts can be found here.
Croquet: A great American past-time and something that all ages will enjoy!
Badminton: Another game that's great for backyard get-togethers!
Face Painting: Use
blue face paint to give the kids a little patriotic spirit!
Bubbles for the kids: Kids love blowing bubbles and it will keep them entertained for a long time!
