Whether you're winding up for a birthday party or gearing up for a big game, these baseball cupcakes are sure to score big!
The boys in my house are die-hard Boston Red Sox fans so we went with a Red Sox theme, but you can tag these treats with any team that you want...including your
favorite school or little league team!
Just print some team logos off of the internet (or create your own) and use toothpicks to hold your tags in place.
Surround the baseballs with some green grass cupcakes and you're all set for a grand-slam event!
How to Make Baseball Cupcakes
You are going to love how incredibly easy these cupcakes are to make! You'll have the entire batch decorated in no time.
For the baseballs, use buttercream frosting to frost the cupcakes white. When decorating cupcakes I
usually make a double-batch of frosting.
Tint a small portion of frosting with red icing coloring gel, and pipe laces on the cupcakes to make them look like baseballs.
To make the grass cupcakes, tint some of the frosting with green icing coloring gel and use Wilton tip #233 to pipe grass onto the cupcakes.
Adhere stickers or cutouts of your favorite baseball team to toothpicks and stick them into the grass cupcakes if you want to add a personal touch.
