Sunshine Cupcakes: These cute little cupcakes will brighten up any get-together! Just pipe a little circle of yellow or orange icing in the middle of a frosted cupcake, and use the opposing color to pipe a swirl in the middle. Finish it off by adding squiggly rays in alternating colors.
Bikinis, Swim Trunks, and Suits, Oh My! I made these cupcakes for a pool party and just fell in love with them...they are toooo cute! Just pick some fun, summer colors as your palette and whip up these cute little things. No art involved...just pretend you're drawing clothes on a stick figure. For a fun touch, roll the edges in brightly colored sprinkles. To see the matching pool party cake, click here.
Seagull Cupcakes: These cupcakes are so much fun to make! Pipe some blue frosting on the cupcakes to create waves. Then, cut a large marshmallow in half lengthwise. Place on the waves sticky-side-up. Pipe a dot of frosting on top and add a mini-marshmallow for the head. Use black frosting to pipe eyes and wings, and red frosting to pipe a beak. Adorable! I served them around a Little Mermaid cake at an Under the Sea party.
Beach Ball Cupcakes: Beach balls are symbolic of summer time fun, so it just seemed appropriate to add this fun design to our collection of beach cupcakes! They're really easy to make, just pipe some of your favorite colors to create the patches on the ball, and finish off with a dollop of frosting in the center.
