Calzone Pinwheels

Ingredients:

* 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
* 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
* 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
* 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
* 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper (any color works)
* 2 Tablespoon finely chopped onion
* 1 package (8-oz.) refrigerated crescent rolls
* 1 jar (14-oz.) of your favorite pizza sauce

Instructions:

1. Mix first 9 ingredients together in a bowl.

2. Separate crescent roll dough into four rectangles; seal perforations.

3. Spread cheese mixture over all four rectangles to within 1/4 inch of edges. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with the short side, and pinch to seal seams.

4. Cut each rectangle into four slices.

5. Place cut side down on greased baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with pizza sauce.

Makes 16 appetizers.
