Caramelized Onion Tartlets
The sweetness of fresh Vidalia onions combined with the soft crunch of phyllo shells = caramelized onion tartlets that are out-of-this-world yummy!
When I was throwing this recipe together, I wasn't quite sure how it was going to turn out, but I have to tell ya, it was a hit!
I used Grueyere cheese and thyme because that's what I had on hand, but I think it would be fun to experiment with different cheeses and spices.
These little guys are the perfect food for entertaining, too, because they're bite-size and pretty!
