How to Make these Halloween Cake Pops:
You'll need a 13" x 9" baked cake, a container of pre-made frosting, and 6-inch lollipop sticks
.
For step-by-step instructions for making and rolling the cake pops, watch the Cake Pop Queen, Bakerella, in action here:
Isn't she AMAZING?!!
Now that your cake pops are rolled, here's what you'll need to decorate them:
- Wilton candy melts in white
, orange
, black
, and green
- Edible food markers
in black and red
- Brown circle sprinkles (from a Cake Mate's Halloween sprinkle mix...used for the mummy eyes)
Just dip the cake balls in the melted candies and decorate as desired.
For the two-tone pops like the Frankenstein and pumpkins you will need to double-dip. Be sure to let the candy dry in between dippings.
Have fun, but be careful...this is addicting!
