Hawaiian Fruit Dip

This Hawaiian fruit dip is one of my most requested party recipes. Not only is it yummy, it is incredibly simple to make!

hawaiian fruit dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) vanilla instant pudding mix

  • 1 1/4 cups cold milk

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained

  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut

  • Assorted fresh fruit such as; pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, grapes and peach slices.

Directions:

In a medium bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk until well blended.

Blend in sour cream. Stir in pineapple and coconut.

Cover; refrigerate until chilled, 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with fresh fruit.

Just a little note: I've found that as far as the fruit dippers are concerned, fresh pineapple is best, but canned mandarin oranges and canned peach slices are much easier than fresh and just as tasty.
