Dazzle your drama queen with this cute cake idea!

You can personalize it to suit her personality, which gives the cake a fun touch!

To make it, generously spread a smooth layer of buttercream frosting onto the sides and top of the cake.

Use a toothpick to draw an outline of a clapboard onto the cake. Pipe black-tinted frosting over the outline. If you don't feel comfortable drawing your own shape, print a picture of a clapboard off of the computer and use it as a template.

Pipe the party details onto your cake with frosting tinted with whatever colors you choose. This is where you can have fun adding your own personal touches!

Finish the cake off with a birthday message, some festive polka dots, and star borders piped around the top and bottom edges of the cake.

Note: The cake can be any size that you want. The one pictured is just a 13" x 9". Just keep in mind that you may need to make additional frosting for larger cakes.
