Kitty Cat Cake

This kitty cat cake is the cat's meow!

Make it super special by putting an edible image of your favorite kitty cat right onto the cake!

It's very easy, and extremely cool...the birthday boy or girl is sure to love it!

• The first thing that you'll need to do is find a picture that you want to use. It can be a photo that you already have, or you can do a search on Google images to look for one. Just make sure that the image you choose is not copyrighted.
• Next, you'll need to call around to your local bakeries to find out which ones make edible images. Most supermarket bakeries provide this service quite inexpensively. I usually pay around $6.oo.

  Take your picture to the bakery and they will copy it onto a sheet of sugar. Keep in mind that the images don't last very long, so you'll want to wait to get your image until the day you plan on making the cake.

• Now all that's left to do is decorate your kitty cat cake!

  Spread buttercream frosting evenly over the sides and top of the cake.

  Carefully peel the backing off of your image and place it on your cake.

  Use the remaining buttercream frosting to pipe a border around your image, and to add any other embellishments that you'd like.
