Movie Party Invitations
There are so many fun invite ideas for a movie theme birthday party!
Pre-made, fill-in-the-blank invitations
are available at BirthdayInABox.com, but I personally like invites that are a little more unique.
FineStationery.com has some really cool movie party invites
that can be personalized just for you OR, you can order blank invitations and print them at yourself at home
to save some cash. These are great because they can be customized to be a perfect fit your party. Who doesn't love that?!!
Another neat idea, which happens to be a hot trend right now, is movie ticket birthday party invitations.
There are some amazing designs for these on eBay, and if
you look at the seller's information you'll find quite a few of them do custom orders. Just remember to always check the seller's feedback before placing an order on
eBay.
If you'd rather make your own invites, that's always fun. You can create your own original masterpieces using Google images and some scrapbooking supplies.
For something truly unique, send each guest a pack of microwave popcorn or movie theater candy in a manilla envelope, and print some admission tickets
to go along with it.

Fill clear glass jars with colorful candies, or lay out candy bars on a nice platter.
Serve soda in vintage soda bottles, or mix up some slushies for everyone to enjoy.

Movie Theme Birthday Cake Ideas
If you can design a cake to match the theme of the movie you'll be watching, that's always a nice touch.
A general movie-theme cake is a fun choice, too. The cake pictured here was created using a movie cake topper,
and would be really easy to make. It looks as though they used frosting to create the popcorn look, but pastel mini-marshmallows would work equally well.
I made a clap-board cake for my daughter's Hollywood-theme party, which would also make a good fit for this party. You can see that cake and get full directions on
how to make it here.
