Patriotic Cupcakes
These patriotic cupcakes are bursting with red, white, and blue pride!
They would be perfect for a Memorial Day or Fourth of July celebration, and they're incredibly easy to make!
If you're up for it, get the kids involved in helping you out with these. My daughter and her little friend actually helped make the ones pictured here and they
had a great time...not to mention the fact that they turned out super cute!
How to Make These Patriotic Cupcakes
You'll Need:
Instructions:
Separate the frosting into thirds. Color one third red, one third blue, and leave the last third white.
To make the stars and stripes cupcakes, fit decorating bags with the #16 tips.
Pipe a blue area on the top half of the cupcakes, and alternate red and white stripes on the bottom half.
Pipe white stars in the blue area and you're all done!
The fireworks cupcakes are just as easy to make.
Fit decorating bags with the #233 tips.
Touch the tip to the cupcake and apply pressure. Pull the bag up toward you and release pressure to get the "grass" look.
Alternate with red, white and blue frosting to create "fireworks."
