Peanut Butter Balls

What You'll Need for these Peanut Butter Balls

* 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
* 1 stick butter, softened
* 2 cups creamy peanut butter
* 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
* 1 12-ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate morsels
* 2 tbsp. shortening

Instructions:

1. Mix cream cheese, butter, and peanut butter together by hand. Gradually stir in powdered sugar; mix well. Form into 1-inch balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper, and refrigerate overnight.

2. Melt chocolate morsels and shortening over low heat or on low setting in microwave.

2. With a toothpick, dip chilled balls in melted chocolate. Place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper, and refrigerate until set. Enjoy!

Yields: 2 dozen balls

This recipe is easy and fun for kids to make.
