Spider Web Cupcakes
Looking for a great Halloween project to do with the kids?
Making these spider web cupcakes would be perfect!
They're incredibly easy to make, and they look really cool when they're finished.
Take a peek below to learn how to whip some up this Halloween! :)
Frost cupcakes with icing (I used green and
orange for mine, but you can use just about any color that you'd like as long as it's not too dark). Store-bought icing is fine to use. In fact, it
actually works a little better.
With a small tube of black icing gel, squeeze a dot
in the middle of the cupcake. Leaving a little bit of space, make a small circle around the dot, then make another ring around that circle, and one more
the second circle.
Place a toothpick lightly into the dot of icing in the middle of the cupcake and pull in a straight line to the edge. Continue to do this
around the entire cupcake to form a web. For a fun touch, add a plastic spider to your web cupcakes!
Super simple, and the kids just love them! :)
