Baked Vidalia Onion Dip

This baked vidalia onion dip is absolutely delicious!

Even non-onion-lovers will eat this up. One of my girlfriends hates onions and she was eating this dip like nobody's business!

How to Make this Yummy Dip

Ingredients:

  • 3 large Vidalia onions, chopped (other sweet onions, like Mayans, can be used if Vidalias aren't available)

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Directions:

Saute onions in butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until tender and opaque.

Add onion, cheese, mayo, hot sauce, and garlic to onions. Mix well.

Pour into a casserole dish. Bake in a 375° oven, uncovered, for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.

Serve warm with blue tortilla chips.
