About Me

Hi! I'm Jennifer, the girl behind Passion-for-Parties.com, and here's a little bit about me and my website success story.

In addition to being the party girl, I'm also a wife, a mom, a friend, and the person everyone calls when they need party and cake ideas!

I'm so glad that you stopped by, and I hope you're finding lots of fun ideas here.

Throwing parties and entertaining have always been passions of mine.

I can spend hours "ooh-ing" and "aah-ing" down the aisles of party and craft stores, and then can't wait to get home to put my creative juices to good use!

I'm a bit of an over-achiever when it comes to using my imagination, and somehow every party that I've ever thrown turns into a full-blown trip into another world.

My house has been everything from an elaborate under the sea grotto to a dude ranch to an 80's themed high school reunion setting, and my very patient husband has been supportive through it all! :)

After throwing lots of big shin-digs and crafting up tons of creative cakes, I've kind of become the go-to girl for all things party and cake related, which is how this website came to be.

The fact that I own and operate a web business is still mind-blowing to me! Never in a million years did I think that I would have a website success story to share with you!

I am not a "techie" or "computer girl" by any stretch of the imagination, but somehow, by a total stroke of luck, I found my calling.

Two years ago I was a working mom, busy trying to juggle a full-time job, four kids, a marriage, crazy activity schedules, a social life...you know the drill.

I was exhausted, and unhappy. My job didn't allow me to go on field trips with my kids or visit them at school for lunch, and it forced them to spend their summers in day camp while all of their friends got to go on fun trips with their families.

I was watching them grow up so fast, and I felt like I was missing all of the important stuff.

I wanted desperately to make a change, but we couldn't afford to live off of one income.

I looked high and low for a job that would allow me a little more flexibility to be there for my kids, but all I found were loads of scams.

And then it happened.

I ran into someone who had an online business. He worked at home, made his own hours, and earned an income doing it. I immediately went home and did as much research as I could, and that's how I found Site Build It.
